THE GUILD MARTINI

THREE GINS, THREE VERMOUTHS, OLIVES
in the
PATRICIAN CHAMPAGNE COUPE

Viennese glassmaker Joseph Lobmeyr made his name as the 19th-century Purveyor to the Imperial Court. Now in its sixth generation as a family business, J. & L. Lobmeyr’s exceptionally thin, fabric-like Muslin glasses are still mouth-blown, cut, engraved and polished by hand; every piece is handled with the care of at least 18 master craftsmen during production.

An internationally acclaimed glass artist represented by Guild Gallery, Hyunsung Cho also hand-blows delicate, functional goblets and glasses in his studio in Seoul. More than simply drawing inspiration from the natural world, Cho’s work mirrors it: the stems of his glassware evoke seeds sprouting into spring flowers, the cups their petals.
