ROMAN AND WILLIAMS REFLECT ON 20 YEARS OF DESIGN—AND SHARE THE PRINCIPLES THAT GOT THEM THERE
Architectural Digest profiles RW Guild founders Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch, celebrating twenty years of Roman and Williams. “One through line has been an enduring interest in history, though the couple is mindful of setting up their designs well for the future—that is, crafting spaces that are meant to last.”
ON THE NATURE OF THINGS
The artist Maggie Wells finds form through intuition. Whether it is her organic and biomorphic clay sculptures or her innumerable non-figurative drawings, Wells perceives shape through a cognitive response to the materials and their expressive qualities. In this installation at RW Guild Gallery, Wells has created pieces that invite viewers to experience a sense of delight as they move around the artwork, finding the composition just like the artist herself.
