Founded in 1923, the Shimizu Glass Co. remains the standard-bearer for kiriko cut-glass, a traditional Japanese style of glassware noted for its radiant color, intricate patterning, and gem-like appearance. Crafted entirely by hand by a team of experienced craftsmen, the coupes, cups, and other tableware produced by the Shimizu Glass Co. are as much objects of art as those of function.
