Danish artist Ejnar Paulsen is a classically trained ceramist, with more than 40 years of experience. His style is the quintessence of Scandinavian design; simple, elegant, and natural. Ejnar uses predominantly black, grey, white, and blue glazes. His shapes are handmade at his studio in Bornholm.  Ejnar finds daily inspiration from the nature and landscape of Bornholm, with cliffs that crash into the Baltic Sea and his Icelandic horses. Most of his pieces are hand thrown stoneware, with blue and grey glazes capturing the sky and sea, recalling Nordic and Japanese influences.
