Keiichi Murakami

Born 1969 in Tokyo, Keiichi Murakami started his wood studio “ki-nari” near the seaside in Kanagawa in 2009.  A graduate of the Industrial Interior and Craft design program at Musashino Art University.  Harvesting wood from his surrounding area, he honors the pieces, cracks, insect bites, regarding them an expression of nature’s individuality.  His works are full of the warmth, tenderness, and strength of the trees.
