Lanterne De Pont Table Lamp
Starting at $4,750 USD
Lanterne De Pont is a sublime table lamp with an architecture of cross-bracing and custom couplings that we originally invented/created for a bookshelf in a Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian house. This piece is crafted in a 150 year-old French workshop from a selection of Signature and Distinctive alloys, including a Rose Gold finish made exclusively for us, and dressed with a hand-sewn European linen shade that emits an enticing glow.
Stephen Alesch and Robin Standefer’s Roman and Williams Guild Original Designs are each branded with our insignia and delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity.
About the Designers
Stephen Alesch and Robin Standefer are the founders and principals of Roman and Williams, Roman and Williams Guild, La Mercerie, and Guild Gallery. In addition to finding and assembling the world’s most prodigious artists for their modern guild of the senses, the husband-and-wife team prolifically makes, creates, and leads. In their work, nature serves as a timeless source of inspiration for the future of how we live.
The Rose Gold alloy is a proprietary finish created only for us by a French workshop that has honed this technique over 150 years.
This sublime lamp boasts a bent and rounded handle as part of a structure of metal alloy rods with distinct rounded and spun ends.
Inspired in part by a bookshelf we designed for a Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian House.
The shade is a tailored form that emits a seductive glow through hand sewn and edged European linen.
