Iris Hantverk references the anatomy of the eye and craft, which takes special meaning because the brush company Iris Hantverk owes its success to the visually impaired craftsmen who make every brush by hand. All of their coveted brushes are made in old Swedish tradition and have been since 1870.

In 2012, when Iris Hantverk was put up for sale, the company’s production manager Richard parrenhök and purchase manager Sara Edhäll borrowed against their own mortgages keep it from moving overseas.
