Ryuji Ango opened Hachimitsu No Mori on October 22, 1988, at the foot of the mountain of Asahi Ridge Mount Asahi-dake. He is a nature expert filled with a passion for sharing the light of honey bees and the connection between nature and people through beekeeping. In addition to making gorgeous beeswax candles, he is deeply involved with the community and also hosts beekeeping and candle making workshops.
