The Takashima family has been making ceramics in his birthplace of Kyoto for generations. Daiki Takashima’s early training lead him to make dishware for top restaurants and Japanese cuisine specialty shops before establishing his own studio practice in Nara prefecture in 2001 situated in a 60s-era house with his family and his French bulldog, Bon.
