Slab Bed is a force of nature with tremendous heft.  Each extraordinary and unique headboard is a kiln-dried cross-section of a Claro Walnut tree with the live edge intact on the top.  The front edge of the box beam is beveled and the platform appears to float off the floor, the headboard is connected to the frame by two sturdy chamfered struts.  A slatted frame provides flexible support and ventilation for your mattress, eliminating the need for a box-spring.
