Franc Table
Starting at $16,900 USD
A luxuriously restrained archetype hand-crafted to accommodate generations, our Franc table commands centuries of woodworking techniques in planes of solid wood, enriched by subtle, high-touch detailing that make it soar.
The Franc is constructed from solid hardwood that is shaped, sanded, buffed, and finished by hand at a master multi-generational, family-owned woodworking shop in Pennsylvania. Its subtly chamfered top is inlaid with butterfly joints and exposed splines, providing both unassailable solidity and subtle design flourish. Its intricately carved legs are fashioned entirely by hand and joined together by solid wood cross-stretchers for infallible support. The cross-brace doubles as a footrest, characteristic of library and work tables. Once assembled, the Franc is sanded and buffed repeatedly, resulting in a finish that highlights and enhances the rare, rich grain of its discerningly sourced hardwood.
