Hub Side Table

Our Hub Side table is a continued study on our anatomy of forms. Intricately assembled in butcher-block style; the surface is made up of individually cut pieces that are arranged by hand and then the entire surface is carved into a debit. Robust hooved legs consist of three pieces of wood laminated together and splined with exposed edges eased. Notched into place using masterful woodworking they grab onto the top’s lipped and beveled edge. Made with a choice of side or end grain wood, which has for centuries been a technique of enduring strength exposing the natural character of the wood. Exposed attachments feature custom Roman and Williams Guild metal hardware.
The Hub Series is available in these variations: Stone or Wood Coffee, Coffee Table and Hoof Stool Side Table.
Handmade in a selection of Signature and Distinctive hardwoods and alloys with our Roman and Williams Guild Living Finishes.
Stephen Alesch and Robin Standefer’s Roman and Williams Guild Original Designs are each branded with our insignia and delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity.
