Marked by its scalloped edges and subtly detailed lip, Tomoko Sakai’s Rinka Fruit Bowl features a traditional, petal-like rinka shape and Sakai’s signature matte white glaze.

Tomoko Sakai’s Rinka Fruit Stand is made of clay the artist shapes by hand at her small studio in Miki, Japan. She then presses into a hand-made, classically Japanese rinka mold before coating it in a matte white glaze and firing it in a wood-fired anagama kiln.
