Enzyme Washed Linen Tablecloth

Linen is a lifestyle, from planting the flax, a self-pollinating plant, powerful and difficult to tame, to the harvest, to the weaving.  The ritual of dyeing is inherently nature based.  Stronger and longer lasting than cotton or wool, we enzyme wash for softness, still allowing the fabric to reveal itself and get better with time.  We have partnered with a hand-loom collective in India for the process of achieving the perfect hue, size, heft, and fray.

Variations: Table Runner, Tablecloths, Napkins, Placemats, Pillow Shams, Bed Coverlet

Stephen Alesch and Robin Standefer’s Roman and Williams Guild Original Private Label.

Product Details and Care Instructions: Our Enzyme linens have a hem just inside the fringe to keep them from fraying away. However, the first few times they are washed, they will shed a bit. Simply cut the threads that start to shed to the same length as the fringe. We also recommend washing them alone the first few times to avoid getting lint on your other textiles.

Machine washable. Use cold water and tumble dry on low (though most people prefer the texture from air dried linen). Try both and see which you prefer.
