Our glass globes are offered with a choice of three fitters: the sock fitter, shown here,
consists of a metal stem hand-crafted in a French workshop in a choice of seven metal finishes, accented by an architectural sleeve made from one of our specially sourced hardwoods. A cast brass canopy connects the fitter to your choice of a domestically crafted egg or round glass globe, both produced by artisans using mouth blowing and hand shaping techniques. Each globe can be specified in a choice of three glass tones (clear, nude and gradient) and three sizes.
Glass shade sold separately, choose from Egg or Bubble.
Please note that lighting exceeding 36” in height is made with multi-piece stems, where slim seams may be visible.

Stephen Alesch and Robin Standefer are the founders and principals of Roman and Williams, Roman and Williams Guild, La Mercerie, and Guild Gallery. In addition to finding and assembling the world’s most prodigious artists for their modern guild of the senses, the husband-and-wife team prolifically makes, creates, and leads.
