Serving Stand - Small

by Go Takagi

From a mountain in Ukyō-ku, Kyoto, Japan, Go Takagi uses an ancient technique from the early period of the Yi Dynasty in Korea (1450-1750) to create his ceramics.  This is a pedestal meant to be used and hold the life of what you choose to bestow upon it, whether it is a pot of tea, bread, fruit, your next meal or something for the consumption of your eyes.  Presentation is everything, take a stand.
