Ejnar, Dinner Plate GRAY

by Ejnar Paulsen

The nature and landscape of Bornholm, with cliffs that crash into the Baltic Sea, gives Ejnar daily inspiration and makes him feel good and his work makes us feel good!!  When he’s not busy taking his icelandic horses for a ride, he creates wonderful ceramics and has been doing so for a while. He started his own workshop back in 1972, has taught and done production design while enjoying a happy pottery life.  Most of his pieces are hand thrown stoneware, with blue and grey glazes capturing the sky and sea, calling nordic and japanese influences.
