Aona Hayashi

Aona Hayashi is an award-winning illustrator and painter who lives in Tokyo.  Influenced by modernism and folk songs, her work is strong, yet serene in bold and simple monochromatic form.  Since she was in second grade, she has been focused on drawing.  Her concentration led her to art school and then Serizawa Design Research Institute, where she studied graphic design.  She draws tirelessly, creating a prolific body of work.
